Edit Existing Products
Should you need to edit your product:
- Navigate to your Inventory and again into Products.
- Select and open the product you wish to edit.
- From this view you can edit the product information by navigating through the product tabs and clicking the blue button that will appear on each tab if editable (this menu will change dependant on the type of product created e.g. simple, variable or virtual)
- Once into the product view, click the three dots on the top right hand side of your product screen for More Options.
- Select Edit Product.
- Make all changes as needed and press Save when complete. This will automatically update all areas that this product is displayed, including the front end of your website.
Disable a Product
Occasionally, you may wish to remove a product from your website. Sqimple allows you to both delete or disable a product. Should you wish to delete a product entirely then all product information will be lost permanently, to do this click here.
The alternative solution is to disable the product. This will retain the product and its details, allowing you to enable the product again later, however it will be separated from your active products and will no longer show on the website.
- Navigate to your Inventory and again into Products.
- Find the product you wish to disable.
- Click the three dots on the right hand side of the product and select Disable.
- This will trigger an ‘Are you sure’ warning, click Disable. This will disable your product not only from your product list but also the website (including its web page).
Enable a Disabled Product
- Navigate to your Inventory and again into Products.
- Find the product you wish to enable again. By default, all disabled products will be filtered out of your Product List. To find them, click the filter button beside your search bar. Click the Disable Only toggle button and ensure it has changed to Yes.
- Your product list will now change to disabled products only. Find your product from this list and click on it to open the product view.
- Once into the product view, click the three dots on the top right hand side of your product screen for More Options.
- Select Enable on Shop. Your product will now re-appear in your shop. You do not need to re-publish the web page as this will automatically happen.
Delete a Product
